Church Update March 24th, 2020

Church Update Covid-19
Thank you to those who joined the live-stream on Facebook Live of Pastor Ross's Bible study last Wednesday night and the 10:00am worship service streamed both on YouTube and Facebook this past Sunday morning. Don't forget to join Pastor Ross this coming Wednesday night March 25th at 7:00pm for his Pastor's study on Facebook live.

As you know by now, we will continue having only one worship service on Sunday mornings at 10:00am until further notice. The service will start at 10:00am live streamed on both Youtube and Facebook. We're still asking everyone to stay away from the church and to continue practicing social distancing as encouraged by our local and state leaders. As for ministries throughout the week and on-campus gatherings, everything has been put on hold. If you have questions about anything programmatic don't hesitate to contact our Church Administrator Tim Black here at the church office. He will be checking his messages often at 818-842-5103. Visit our website at

If you need prayer, please don't hesitate to send us a prayer request by email at [email protected] or through the BurbankPres church app which can be downloaded from any of the app stores for Apple and Android devices. We have people who have graciously volunteered to go shopping for those unable to leave their homes right now. Pastor Ross and Pastor K.C. are also both available for pastoral care emergencies as well.

We realize that we are not only dealing with a public health challenge but also a serious economic challenge. Many of you may be experiencing disruptions in your employment or may be uncertain what your financial future holds. However, we hold on to the promises of God’s faithfulness to provide for us. If you are in a position to continue your regular tithes and offerings to support our ministries and operations here at BurbankPres, you can do so by mailing a check to our church office (521 E. Olive Ave., Burbank 91501) or you can also donate through our website,, or through our church app, which you can find in any of the app stores. Also, as a reminder during this Lenten season, our church participates in a special offering through our denomination, One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS). If you wish to support the OGHS offering, you may do so by writing “OGHS” in the memo of your check or you may select the “One Great Hour of Sharing” fund when donating through the online platforms.

We are praying for you all, our community, and our world in the midst of this Covid-19 crisis. We pray that as we continue to walk with Jesus during this season of Lent, that all of us will know and be assured of the promises that Easter is coming, that Christ died, Christ was buried, and that Christ was victorious over death.  Until we're all able to gather in person again, Lord be with each and everyone of you. Don't forget to check on your neighbors, friends, and those you love during these times. If you know people in our church, please contact them and make sure they're well.

Looking forward to Sunday worship online with all of you.
